Governor David Paterson was in Washington D.C. today. He attended the National Governors Associations. He and other governors have met with President Obama and other senior administration officials. The meeting focused on the national recovery plan. Governors also talked about how they are going to use the money toward creating more jobs for people.
Also in the meeting, New York officials have estimated that the stimulus package President Obama just signed could bring more than 24 billion in additional federal revenues to New York State.
